Welcome to the Open-Xchange Newsflash. This week we want to bring to your 
attention the following Open-Xchange technical whitepapers.

- Scalability and Tuning Whitepaper, English, v1.01 (PDF) 
This whitepaper describes several way to scale and fine tune an Open-Xchange 
Server installation. It does not provide specific parameters, but gives 
guidelines for finding and optimizing performance bottlenecks in the system.

- High Availability Concept for Open-Xchange Server, English, v1.00 (PDF) 
This whitepaper describes ways to achieve the best possible high availability 
without the need to purchase extra software. Only free Open Source software 
is used in the examples. The whitepaper does not provide you with complete 
How-To’s, nevertheless some simple configuration examples are given at the 
end of the document.

- Backup Guide for Open-Xchange Server, English, v1.20 (PDF) 
This How-To provides an outline of how to backup and restore an Open-Xchange 
Server. The instructions assume that a standard Open-Xchange installation is 
to be backed up and that it will be restored onto a newly rebuilt server.

- Concept Wiki OXtender, English, v1.02 (PDF) 
This concept paper explains the benefits of Wiki OXtender for real-time 
exchange of documents. Scheduled for release in second half 2006, Wiki 
extension for Open-Xchange server will implement all the good stuff from 
Wikis - easy content creation, easy, hypertext based structuring and easy 
access.

- SLOX2OX Migration Guide, English, v1.10 (PDF) 
This Migration Guide shows how to migrate from an existing collaboration 
environment using SUSE LINUX Openexchange 4.1 to Open-Xchange Server 5.
