[Open-Xchange App Suite Maintenance Announcements]

Dear Customers and Partners of Open-Xchange,

Open-Xchange is pleased to announce a major update of OX Documents, its open source browser based productivity suite. OX Documents is fully round-trip compatible with Microsoft Office OOXML documents and consists of cloud-based apps such as OX Text, a word processor, OX Spreadsheet and OX Documents Viewer. OX Documents is an integral part of OX App Suite.

The collection of office orientated apps has been refreshed with an improved responsive UI as well as editing and performance enhancements. The new horizontal layout improves usability across all platforms, including tablets and smartphones. This is achieved with an easy-to-navigate tab panel, responsive toolbars, a list of all document collaborators and a new look for the AutoSave feature.

Added features to OX Documents include: 

- Change tracking in OX Text 
- Full interoperability with Microsoft Office change tracking
- Improved clipboard support from MS Word into OX Text
- OX Text “Draft Mode” for smartphones allowing for easy reading and editing on small screen devices
- Enhanced usability on tablet and smartphone 
- New tabbed horizontal user interface
- Automatic zoom/screen fit defaults for different document types
