Open-Xchange is pleased to announce the release of OX Mail App v2.26.0 for Android and Apple iOS. 

OX Mail App is a native mobile app built specifically for smartphone and tablet users who already have a valid OX App Suite account. The OX Mail App, for Android and Apple iOS, provides fast and robust email access on both smartphones and tablets. It is designed to work seamlessly with OX App Suite.

OX Mail App v2.26.0 for Android - Main Improvements:

- Search mail body in the Android app
The search can now also finding search terms in the mail body. This is limited to mails that have been downloaded beforehand.

- Messages can be move from/to Drafts folder in the Android app
Mails can now be moved into the draft folder. These mails can then be edited and sent.

- Default sender setting in the Android app
With OX Mail v2.26.0 users can now choose the default sender address for an account. They can choose between the primary account and its aliases.

- Improved autocompletion of the compose view in the Android app
Autocompletion in the compose view will now always show entries. Either from the device address book, the webmail address book or the last contacted list. Users can also enter different search terms separated by a space.

- Improved on-boarding in the Android app
With OX Mail v2.26.0 we improved the 'first login' process.

- Limit automatic opening of attachments in the Android app
Users can start the download of big attachments but will not be distracted by the automatic opening of the attachment, when leaving the detail view. The attachments will be downloaded in the background.

- Improved folder management workflow in the Android app
With this release it is now easier to add, move or delete folders.

- Bug fixes and UX improvements in the Android app
With OX Mail v2.26.0 we have improved the overall UX and fixed several bugs.


OX Mail App v2.26.0 for Apple iOS - Main Improvements:

- Improved UX of secondary accounts in the OX Mail App for Apple iOS
With the new release it is now easier to add and manage secondary (or third party) accounts.

- Introduction of virtual folders to the OX Mail App for Apple iOS
In OX Mail App v2.26.0 virtual folders for unread and flagged mails, as well as mails with attachments, are added to the Apple iOS app.

- Toggle threading of Mails in the OX Mail App for Apple iOS
To have a better overview of your mail conversations, OX Mail App can show mails in a thread. If you prefer a flat list it is also possible to disable threads.

- Introduction of folder management in the OX Mail App for Apple iOS
With OX Mail App v2.26.0 you can now manage your folders in the app settings. You can now create, edit and delete folders.

- Bug fixes and UX improvements in the OX Mail App for Apple iOS
With OX Mail v2.26.0 we improved the overall UX and fixed several bugs.
