Dear Customers and Partners of Open-Xchange,

Open-Xchange is pleased to announce the release of OX Drive app v3.0.0 for Android.

OX Drive enables users to synchronize files between a variety of devices (phones, tablets and laptops) and OX App Suite. OX Drive consists of two elements: the OX Drive component that is built into OX App Suite and the native OX Drive Apps. These are designed to work together and ensure high usability and a seamless customer experience on different devices.

What’s new in OX Drive app v3.0.0 for Android

- Public and Shared Files Syncing: If you have content stored in either your “Shared Files” or your “Public Files“ folder, in OX App Suite, it will now be synchronized to your Android device. This can be deactivated in Settings.
- Favorites: You can now mark files and folders as favorites. This lets you access them quickly in the new Favorites folder.
- Internal Video Player: Videos can now be played within the OX Drive app directly. 
- App Shortcuts: You can now create shortcuts to specific views or folders. This makes them easy to access from your home screen with one tap.
- Upload New File Versions: You can replace the current version of a file with a newer version. Just download the file, edit it, and then upload it again to the same folder, without changing its name.
- Export as .zip: This allows you to bundle several files and folders together and export them to your device in one zip file.
- Wait for Wifi: There is now the option to wait for a Wifi connection when using automatic camera uploads.
- Optimized UI for Tablets: The main navigation is now always available.
- Other UI and UX improvements 
- Improved Error Handling
