Open-Xchange is pleased to announce the release of OX Drive app v4.0.0 for Android.

OX Drive enables users to synchronize files between a variety of devices (phones, tablets and laptops) and OX App Suite. OX Drive consists of two elements: the OX Drive component that is built into OX App Suite and the native OX Drive Apps. These are designed to work together and ensure high usability and a seamless customer experience on different devices.

What’s new in OX Drive app v4.0.0 for Android

- Extensive UI redesign following Material UI guidelines
- Scan and upload documents within the app
- Create and upload notes within the app
- Introducing a new bottom navigation bar
- Partial media access permissions supported
- View files in the browser if the server supports the file type
- Enhanced UX, particularly for automatic uploads
- Optional location data upload for media files
- App-specific language settings now available
- Improved support for chromeOS
- Bug fixes
