[Open-Xchange App Suite Maintenance Announcements]

Dear Customers of Open-Xchange,

This new release provides an update for OX App Suite v8.28. With every release of Open-Xchange's products we try to enhance functionality, improve stability, refine the user experience, and make operations easier.

Enhancements in OX App Suite v8.28

We are pleased to introduce the latest enhancements for OX App Suite. These are mainly focused on optimizing the user experience, technical performance, and reducing user accounts management effort.

- Improved First Start Wizard - We are pleased to introduce the new “First Start Wizard” that is designed to guide a new user through the basic account setup process. A new user, when they use OX App Suite for the first time, can find themselves a little lost by the product’s extensive functionality. This new wizard now guides them easily through the basic settings for OX Mail and OX Calendar.

- Pre-Information - next version 8.29 will depend on Redis v7.4 - As of version 8.20, Redis is mandatory for some OX App Suite 8.x components.
