[Open-Xchange App Suite Maintenance Announcements]

Dear Open-Xchange customer,

This new release provides an update for OX App Suite v8.47 and OX App Suite v8.47 LTS. With every release of Open-Xchange products, we try to enhance functionality, improve stability, refine the user experience, and make operations easier.

OX App Suite v8.47 LTS is the next Long-Term Support (LTS) release, following v8.35 LTS. With our annual LTS rhythm, this version provides a stable foundation for long-running deployments. LTS releases are supported until the next LTS 'plus six months' to give enough time to schedule, test and rollout the upgrade. This means, OX App Suite v8.35 LTS will be officially supported until September 30, 2026. Enhancements in this release:

This release focuses on stability improvements and bug fixes, and introduces two usability enhancements:

- Users can now save or download emails via keyboard shortcuts. This is particularly useful for employees who regularly export messages to external systems, such as electronic archiving solutions.

- In addition, users can now join public meetings directly from team calendars with a single click. Instead of manually editing the event, adding themselves as an attendee, and accepting the appointment, they can add themselves to the attendee list in one step.

General Information and Breaking Change

- Open-Xchange introduces a new update task, to add a table for MFA enforcement in the database. More information can be found here: https://documentation.open-xchange.com/appsuite/releases/lts/8.47/noteworthy/00_index.html#scr-1502

- As mentioned in the blogpost https://kubernetes.io/blog/2025/11/11/ingress-nginx-retirement/, upstream support for Ingress NGINX will cease at the end of March, and the project will be retired. Please note, our support for Ingress NGINX in OX App Suite v8 will also be discontinued at the same time.
