Open-Xchange announced availability of two software extensions which 
enable native Mac applications to be used with Open-Xchange and the 
iPhone to access Open-Xchange groupware. The software extensions 
can be used with on-premise solutions as well as Open-Xchange Hosting 
Edition, which is available through SaaS providers. For more information,

    * Gartner says Worldwide SaaS Revenue to Grow 22 Percent in 2009

The market for software as a service (SaaS) is forecast to reach $9.6
billion in 2009, a 21.9 percent increase from 2008 revenue of $6.6
billion, according to Gartner, Inc. The content, communications and
collaboration (CCC) market continues to show the widest disparity of
SaaS revenue across market segments, generating $2.5 billion in 2009, up

    * Versatel Offers Webmail Solution from Open-Xchange


Open-Xchange, the leading provider of business-class open source
collaboration

software, announced today a deal with Versatel, Germany's third-largest

telecommunications provider, to bring free webmail to Versatel's customers,

which include more than 1.3 million e-mail accounts.
