Yes I did this – here the config-file:

have you added the /usm-json path to your apache configuration?
 
Example:

ProxyPass /usm-json ajp://127.0.0.1:8009/usm-json smax=0 ttl=60 retry=5
 
Right where the other OX servlets are configured.
