[Open-Xchange Server Edition Maintenance Announcements]

Dear Customers of Open-Xchange,
 
This is the Release of Open-Xchange Server, Version 6.14. This Update includes new versions of
 
- Open-Xchange Server 6 (OX6), the common basis for the products OX HE (Hosting Edition) and OX SE (Server Edition) including major updates of
- the OXtender for Business Mobility
- the OXtender for Microsoft Outlook, and
- the OXUpdater
 
Version 6.14 offers a comprehensive feature update providing users with new concepts, usability improvements, new features and bug fixes. To improve ease-of use, the latest enhancements introduce a wizard that eases the setup for new and existing Open-Xchange users. The wizard configures the subscriptions of external mail accounts from Google, GMX, Web.de and many others, along with social and business networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing and others, as well as the push synchronization of mobile phones.
 
Additional new features include:
- New team calendar view
- Usability improvements in the AJAX User Interface
- Enhanced OXtender for Microsoft Outlook
- New On-Line help and manuals

The version number is the same for the groupware server and the groupware front-end.
When reporting bugs, please make sure to include this version number in your bug report.
The version number number can be found
a) in the Login dialog
b) in the About dialog (Question icon in the upper right -> About)
 
- OXtender for Business Mobility
Version: v6.14.0-Rev5 (2009-11-27)
If you have already installed an earlier release of the OXtender for Business Mobility, it is very important to follow the steps described in the Update section of the installation manual for this add-on.
