[Open-Xchange Server Edition Maintenance Announcements]

Dear Customers of Open-Xchange,

This new release provides an update for OX App Suite v8.45. With every release of Open-Xchange's products we try to enhance functionality, improve stability, refine the user experience, and make operations easier.

Enhancements in this release include:

- This release introduces Email Snooze, a new way to manage your inbox by temporarily setting messages aside until you’re ready to deal with them. Snoozed emails return at the time you choose, helping you stay focused and keeping your inbox organized. - This OX App Suite release brings a range of user experience improvements across mail, calendar and portal components. The overall interface behaves more consistently, accessibility has been improved — including refinements to keyboard navigation and focus handling — and numerous issues have been resolved to make everyday interactions smoother and more reliable. General Information and Breaking Change

- We have updated the Istio configuration. Please make sure you have a supported version of Istio installed before upgrading to this version of OX App Suite. You can find more information about the required Istio version at https://documentation.open-xchange.com/appsuite/operation-guides/requirements.html#istio. - Pre-Information - As mentioned in the blog post https://kubernetes.io/blog/2025/11/11/ingress-nginx-retirement/, upstream support for Ingress NGINX will cease at the end of March, and the project will be retired. Please note, our support for Ingress NGINX in OX App Suite v8 will also be discontinued at the same time.
