Open-Xchange today released a comprehensive feature update
for Open-Xchange Express Edition. Customers can download
improvements to usability and performance of the leading
open source collaboration software.

Express Edition has been designed from the bottom up for
ease of use. To fulfil its promise of Smart Collaboration,
Open-Xchange Express Edition had to be easy to install and use,
but also easy to maintain and upgrade. Getting the latest
enhancements to the operating system, middleware, and
email / groupware application quickly and effortlessly is key
to our customers’ success.

Fetchmail Integration -- Fetchmail is an open source project.
This software module has been integrated into Open-Xchange
Express Edition. The Fetchmail feature enables organizations to
consolidate email from various remote email servers in one place.
Fetchmail supports POP, IMAP, POPS, IMAPS, singledrop and multidrop.

* Faster Initial Load -- This means much faster access to the system
and less waiting.

* Better performance on older computers -- The user interface works
faster with older machines.

* Improved performance on older browser technologies -- The user
interface is much faster on older browsers that are less suited
for AJAX technologies such as Internet Explorer 6.

* Improved HTML e-mail editor -- The editor is easier to use and
enables end users to be more creative and more productive.

* Improved usability -- A number of small enhancements for
example email address auto-complete, inherited access rights,
and graphical differentiation between internal and external users.
